Laser hair removal
What is laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal is the most effective long-term solution for hair removal. It can be performed on both the face and the body.
Laser hair removal with Primelase HR and Elysion Pro.
In our Laser Center Classy, we use two types of the most modern and powerful diode lasers, from the Spanish manufacturer Cocoon Medical, the PrimeLase and Elysion-Pro brands.
The type of laser is chosen based on the individual needs of the client, considering the treatment area, the season with regard to sunlight intensity, and the possible skin reaction to subsequent pigmentation. A laser is always selected to ensure safety and effectiveness for you.
Laser hair removal is one of the most modern and effective solutions for removing unwanted hair.

More about the procedure

More
Every hair on the human body has a follicle, also called a bulb or root, at its base. When laser hair removal is performed, we direct the laser beam at the follicle through the hair shaft with highly concentrated light energy. This light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft and converted into heat energy, which in turn destroys the follicle to stop the growth of new hairs.
Over time, with continued and proper treatment, all clients see a significant reduction and disappearance of hair growth in the treated area.
-
Preparation
Prior to the actual procedure, the areas to be worked on must be cleaned with a depilatory, trimmer or razor. This ensures that the laser energy is focused on the hair follicles and not on the hairs above the skin.
-
Number of sessions:
Our hair doesn’t grow in sync. They may be in different growth phases in the same area. The hair cycle goes through three phases – anagen, catagen and telogen. Lasers destroy hairs completely only when they are in their active phase (anagen), in which there is active cell division and the hair grows in length. Therefore, several treatments are needed for the same area.
There may be some redness or slight discomfort in the treated area after the procedure, but these reactions are normal and temporary. It is important to follow the instructions provided by your therapist, such as no sun exposure or tanning bed use in the treated area.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How many treatments are needed and over what period of time are they done?
Between 6-8 treatments are required to achieve optimal results with Primelase HR laser hair removal. Sometimes this number can vary, depending on the extent of hair and the individual needs of each client.
-
Is there a visible result from the first treatment?
Usually 2-3 weeks after the procedure, hairs that are in an active growth phase begin to fall out. Most patients who undergo Primelase HR laser hair removal notice about 50% less hair in the treated area after the first treatment.
-
How to prepare before the procedure?
Immediately prior to your laser hair removal procedure, it is important to shave the hair in the area to be treated. It is important to know that other hair removal methods that remove the hair follicle are not recommended. This includes removal with tweezers, waxing and epilator.
-
How do I maintain the treated area after the procedure?
For a few weeks after laser hair removal, it is imperative to use a high SPF (SPF 50+) sunscreen and not expose the treated areas to the sun for extended periods of time. Avoid tanning beds. This will minimise the risk of skin pigmentation.
-
Is there a recovery period?
There is no recovery period after laser hair removal. The most common reactions after the procedure are skin redness, residual erythema and perifollicular edema. These subside within a few hours and do not interfere with normal daily life.
-
Is the procedure painful?
Thanks to Primelase HR’s patented crystal freeze technology, the sensation of pain and burning during the procedure is minimized. The device’s applicator automatically regulates the temperature, thus making epilation painless and safe.
-
Are there age restrictions for laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal is not recommended only for adolescents because of the hormonal changes that are typical between the ages of 14-18.
